Author: Susan Dennard
Release Date: July 24, 2012 (SO soon!)
Published by: HarperTeen

The year is 1876, and there's something strange and deadly loose in Philedelphia...
Eleanor Fitt has a lot to worry about. Her brother has gone missing, her family has fallen on hard time, and her mother is determined to marry her off to any rich young man who walk by. But this is nothing compared to what she's just read in the newspaper--
The Dead are rising in Philadelphia.
And then, in a frightening attack, a zombie delivers a letter to Eleanor...from her brother.
Whoever is controlling the Dead army has taken her brother as well. If Eleanor is going to find him, she'll have to venture into the lab of the notorious Spirit-Hunters, who protect the city from supernatural forces. But as Eleanor spends more time with the Spirit-Hunters, including their maddeningly stubborn yet handsome inventor, Daniel, the situation becomes dire. And now, not only is her reputation on the line, but her very life may hang in the balance. (Summary from Goodreads)

I love how this is mostly text and simple images. This will make a great addition for examples of book trailers for my students in the fall! Nicely done and I can't wait to get my hands on this book! Great cover!

Author: Katie McGarry
Release date: July 31, 2012
Published by: Harlequin Teen

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible. Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the guy who might teach her how to love a again. (Summary from Goodreads)

Pushing the Limits is a must read! I was consumed by it from start to finish! The mystery behind her forgotten night and love story between Noah and Echo is beautiful and heartbreaking--in a good way if you can believe it!
