Aggie has just moved to Alaska, under duress. Her father is a depression fixing superstar, and his job has brought him to the state just as the winter begins. Being from Florida, snow is a new is long underwear! She has always been a quiet tag-along type of person, but now she must branch out and try to meet new people and make new friends. When she loses her cell phone, it’s actually the best thing in the world because with the GPS tracking on the phone she is encouraged to step out of her comfort zone and try some of the adventures her cell phone embarks on.

This is a sweet and funny story as Aggie really works to climb out of her shell and out of the shadow of her parents. Her new friend, Duncan, keeps the humor flowing, which I enjoyed, and he also encourages her to go on her adventures and helps her explore her new self. He also tries to help her out with her crush, Tobin.

Following Aggie as she grows and changes and becomes more comfortable with herself is what makes this story great. Don’t let the title fool you; while this story is funny, it is also serious and sweet.
