This week's pre-publication "We can't wait to read it!" selections are...

Author: Victoria Scott
Release Date: February 25, 2014
Published by: Scholastic

Tella Holloway is losing it. Her brother is sick, and when a dozen doctors can't determine what's wrong, her parents decide to move to Montana for the fresh air. She's lost her friends, her parents are driving her crazy, her brother is dying--and she's helpless to change anything.
Until she receives mysterious instructions on how to become a Contender in the Brimstone Bleed. It's an epic race across jungle, desert, ocean, and mountain that could win her the prize she desperately desires: the Cure for people the love, and there's no guarantee that Tella (or any of them) will survive the race.
The jungle is terrifying, the clock is ticking, and Tella knows she can't trust the allies she makes. And one big question emerges: Why have so many fallen sick in the first place? (Summary from Goodreads)

This sounds like the start of a great adventure a la Hunger Games. I like the final question: what is making so many people sick? Clearly there will be some larger evil to fight. Wonder what it will be?

(Partials, Book 3)
Author: Dan Wells
Release Date: March 11, 2014
Published by: Balzer + Bray

Kira, Samm and Marcus fight to prevent a final war between Partials and humans in the gripping final installment in the Partials Sequence.
There is no avoiding it--the war to decide the fate of both humans and Partials is at hand. Both sides hold in their possession a weapon that could destroy the other, and Kira Walker has precious little time to prevent that from happening. She has one chance to save both species and the world with them, but it will only come at great personal cost. (Summary from Goodreads)

Oh how I LOVE this series! I'm sad it's coming to an end, but cannot wait for this!!!

What are you waiting on this week?
